It’s a legacy of residential development in high-barrier markets, multi-state manufactured housing strategies, and fully off-grid luxury hospitality near U.S. national parks.

Roger King is the Founder and CEO of JBB Equity Management. He launched his real estate career in 1996 repositioning properties in Orlando, then spent 4 years in California’s mortgage industry before moving into asset management for condo-hotel conversions. Following the GFC, Roger started his own company, JBB Holdings, buying, repositioning, developing, and selling single family residential properties. He began acquiring mobile home communities in 2018 and expanded into hospitality operations in 2022. Since 2009, Roger has completed 400+ transactions across multiple market cycles.
After moving to Puerto Rico in 2022, Roger founded JBB Equity Management to oversee his US-based, diversified portfolio consisting of residential, multifamily, luxury development, mobile home communities, and lakefront hospitality properties.
Roger is also Founder and CEO of an eco-luxury hospitality brand focused on the growing market for experiential luxury travel.
A Berklee alum and former professional jazz musician, Roger understands that exceptional results require both technical mastery and creative vision. He is also a member of ULI and looks forward to collaborating with industry professionals across all asset classes.
Roger is currently leading the creation of a new luxury hospitality brand focused on fully off-grid resorts near U.S. national parks. The flagship project is a $53 million experiential retreat with 33 high-design cabins and full infrastructure, currently in pre-development. The broader platform targets 10 destination properties over a 5-year buildout timeline, with a 12 to 15 year arc toward an ESOP-aligned exit strategy.
In parallel, Roger is engaged in multiple resort and mixed-use hospitality ventures in partnership with Pure Hospitality, a development group focused on high-barrier, design-forward hotel assets in outdoor and lifestyle-driven markets.
Through Ascend Partners, he also leads a manufactured housing strategy centered on aggregation, capital restructuring, and long-view income durability across select Southeastern and Midwestern U.S. markets.
These platforms share a common thread: complex, supply-constrained segments where aligned capital and focused execution generate asymmetric returns.
